Job Summary
The ideal candidate is someone with a track-record, technical knowledge and skills in architecting delivering and managing large scale sophisticated cloud native software solutions deployed on cloud platforms such as, AWS
- Create, build, and deploy new AWS solutions in support of data integration and data delivery.
- Collaborate with technical lead, product owners, architects, and other project team members to create and test robust re-usable patterns.
- Understand diagnose and resolve technical and production incident issues
- Monitor and validate deployments to confirm expected behavior
- Collect and implement software application requirements defined by business users, architects, and customer
- Design the architecture for migrating on-premises applications to AWS cloud
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications or equivalent education experience with certifications
- 2+ year of managing serverless and event-driven compute services
- Technical degree or equivalent experience
- Big & Fast Data Infrastructure on AWS cloud using ECS, EKS, Kafka, Kinesis, Glue, Athena, Redshift, DynamoDB & Quick Sight
- Networking, Security and Messaging Applications
- Firewall Configuration: Shorewall, UFW
- Log exports and monitoring
- SMTP Configuration
- SSL/TLS Configuration
- DNS Administration
- Web Development, deployment and administration via Apache, MySQL, Laravel and Magneto
- Strong Python or Java skills
- Minimum Certification: AWS Cloud Practitioner
- Preferred Certification: AWS Solution Architect
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading software delivery teams on server or serverless technologies
- Deep understanding of Cloud Computing technologies and migration exercises with cutover management
- Experience implementing security controls, SCTMs
- Professional experience architecting/deploying/operating solutions built on AWS
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
- Recovery and Disaster Recovery with Commvault or IBM Spectrum Protect
- Experience with Data Modeling and Data Mining technologies
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM
- 5 Years of relevant experience in Information Technology
